ZIEGEL U-BLOCKS

Ziegel U-blocks are permanent shuttering units which provide a fast, simple solution for forming in-situ

• lintels
• ring beams, padstones and anchors
• hollow voids or channels within Ziegel masonry

Steel rods or cages can be placed into the channel formed by the U-blocks. Concrete is then poured and vibrated.
The U-blocks can be built into the Ziegel masonry in the same way as the Ziegel blocks, enabling vertical voids or windposts to be built in to the bonding pattern instead of creating vertical breaks.
